Portfolio - The Edinburgh Bagpipe Company
The Brief
The client wanted a modern looking e-commerce site selling Bagpipes and bagpipes accessories.
The site was to display as much information as possible through the use of both the right and left menu without looking cluterred.
The Implementation
For this project, we used ZenCart, an osCommerce spin-off with many additions, making a perfect choice for shop owners who want to get on with selling their products rather than spending too much time installing contributions on a standard osCommerce platform.
The work was carried out on one of our demo servers, allowing the client to see the progress at any time.
We also had to develop a dual-menu feature whereby the categories of products available on the site are showing both on the left side of the site, but also as an horizontal menu in the header.
Many other design teaks have been applied to this e-commerce site, giving Edinburgh Bagpipes the edge over all its competitors.
