Portfolio - Ryanair Travel Insurance
The Brief
The Ryanair airline wanted to offer travel insurance to its customers as part of an ever growing range of third party services. Ryanair decided to use Primary Insurance for the travel insurance side of things, using an Inmeres Solutions system for the technical side.
The Implementation
Using the system developed by Inmeres Solutions, Primary Insurance was able to offer Ryanair a web site and an insurance product in record time.
Inmeres Solutions Ltd prepared the look and feel of the site. Although not a complex design, it matches the current Ryanair website and keeps their branding consistent.
Inmeres Solutions Ltd also developed an interface between the booking side of the Ryanair website and the travel insurance site. Once a traveller books a flight, a single click on a button opens a new window to the travel insurance site, with all the details pre-populated for the client.
This implementation has been a great success and Ryanair is now selling several hundreds policies every day, in British pounds and in Euros.
